Overview
The Redmi K20 is the latest flagship smartphone from the Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi, to be unveiled on May 28 in China. It is perhaps the most coveted flagship of the year in the Asian markets at least. It packs some really interesting specifications too, according to what has been already confirmed by Redmi and founder Lu Weibing. Read on to know all about the phone that we know so far.Performance
The K20 on the other hand is rumored to have the Snapdragon 730 SoC, with max clock speed upto 2.2GHz and the Adreno 618 GPU.
The phone is also touted to come with Xiaomi's Game Turbo 2.0, which is essentially a software based GPU boost which enables a smooth gaming experience with good stability in frame rates.
It is also rumored to sport some sort of advanced heat dissipation mechanism in the form of probably vapor chambers and copper tubes.
Redmi released the K20 Pro's AnTuTu score - 458,000, which is exceptionally high, higher than any score we have seen on a smartphone till date, which is on an average 350,000. This could prove that whatever heat dissipation mechanism Xiaomi is employing its working efficiently. Do take this score with a grain of salt though, as these results may have been obtained in extreme lab environments which may not be possible to produce in real life.
The performance is expected to be at least on par with most other flagships that have already been launched or are going to be launched this year, if not better.

The K20 would be the first Redmi phone to carry an NFC chip for contactless payments.
It is also confirmed to have dual-band GPS which is supposed to be more accurate than normal GPS.
